Midnight Blossom - Theme of 2008

This is a midnight blossom.

The rare flowering plant only blooms once a year at midnight, and the 12-hour flower releases a strong aromatic fragrance.

It is very sought after by most botanists for it's essence for perfume.

This is my theme picture for 2008.

It represents the perfection we can achieve if we just take our time and do things slowly.

It also reminds me that different things have their seasons.

Most importantly, it teaches me to be unreasonable. Because reasonable people do only reasonably well.

Happy 2008.

Gah no wonder you're so unreasonable most of the time!

Because reasonable people do only reasonably well.

What kind of reasoning is this? Lol. :S

It's a quote from Paul Arden.

It states that people who choose predictable, safe and logical decisions do only reasonably well. People who dare to choose risky, spontaneous and unique decisions usually do better in the long run, because the few times they did well more than made up for the many times they did not do well.

    Thanks for commenting!
